There are times where we feel like our faith journey is something to be taken alone. While we encourage and equip men to grow in their personal relationships with Christ, we also recognize that we need each other. The meetings and gatherings we have are more than just "guy times" - they're times for us to support each other as the Body of Christ and as men of God. We find our inspiration from Galatians 6:1-10 - a passage that reminds us that we need each other for encouragement and the reminder that we are important. Our hope is bring guys together from many different ages and stages, as we each have wisdom to bring to the table. If you have any questions about this ministry, please contact Erik Strom, our Men's Ministry Director!
Weekly Prayer and Fellowship
We can always use prayer. While we can't meet every day, we try to be intentional about having opportunities to pray for one another each week. Every Tuesday, we have multiple opportunities for fellowship and prayer. At 7am, there is the Men's Coffee Fellowship at The Villa Coffee House (344 Park Ave, Downtown Idaho Falls). Then, at 7pm, we meet at the church in Room 102-104 for a time of men supporting each other. It's a grace filled time of many generations of men praying for each other.
Monthly Breakfast and Prayer
The second Saturday of each month, we meet at the church at 7am for an hour of prayer in the sanctuary. We then leave at 8am to head to Grandpa's BBQ (at Motel West - 1540 W Broadway St, Idaho Falls, ID 83402) to eat with one another. It's always a great time of getting together, eating great food, and being surrounded by a group of godly men. Men of all ages are welcome to this delicious breakfast and meaningful prayer time!
